English adjudicators on Thursday decided that Shamima Begum, a London student who made a trip to Syria to join Islamic State, ought to be permitted to come back to the United Kingdom to challenge the expulsion of her British citizenship.

Begum left to join IS the point at which she was 15 however now needs to return. Her British citizenship was denied on security grounds.
Court of Appeal judges said that the main way Begum would have the option to have a reasonable and powerful intrigue of that choice would be if she somehow happened to be allowed to return the UK.
"I have arrived at the firm resolution that given that the main manner by which she can have a reasonable and compelling intrigue is to be allowed to come into the United Kingdom to seek after her allure," judge Julian Flaux wrote in a decision.
"Decency and equity must, on the realities of this case, exceed the national security concerns... I consider that Ms Begum's case for legal survey of the choice of SIAC (Special Immigration Appeals Commission)... succeeds."
