CTTC police reviewer bites the dust from Covid-19

Another individual from Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) kicked the bucket of coronavirus at Central Police Hospital in the capital on Sunday morning (May 24).

The expired was Razu Ahmed, an investigator of Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of DMP. 


Razu was admitted to the emergency clinic on May 4, a day after he tried Covid-19 positive, said Sohel Rana, partner investigator general (media) of Police Headquarters. 


With the passing of Raju, a sum of 13 police officers in the nation have kicked the bucket from coronavirus. 


As indicated by sources at Police Headquarters, the absolute number of coronavirus-tainted police individuals was 3,574 until Saturday. 


Among them, 1,277 are from DMP, the sources said.
